if im correct the jdm integras base model still has the 160hp, and itr have 220.......

so is there really any need for an ITR to come over here for an extra 10 hp......after all with the HFP package you have the whole ITR right there.

Agreed. The type S is the american Type R. Just like the USDM DC2 type R couldn't outperform the jdm DC2R. It was pretty close tho.

The dc5-r will handle much better than the rsx-s a-spec for at least one reason: helical lsd. And that might not even be the only difference. I think the sway bars might be thicker on the R, and the shock/spring combo might be stiffer as well.

And then there's the hp difference.

I have the full DC5 R suspension and it's like 5 times better then the Type S suspension.

Besides the motor and tranny tweaks, there is not as much difference between the DC5 to DC5R models as there was between the DC2 and DC2R models.

FWIW, the Mugen sport suspension is intended to upgrade the DC5R suspension.

The USDM Type S is decently close besides a few easily upgradable performance items--it is just lacking the bling of the R badge.

*sarcasm* because we all know those Helical LSD's make the car handle better *sarcasm*

actually I don't have a LSD and it's still good. if you just get Mugen SS and a ITR rear sway. it will change the characteristics of the car.

You know what I meant. To get a fwd car to rotate and not just oversteer requires both a thicker rear sway and lsd.

I think you were joking around, but if not, drive a gsr w/mod'd suspension (no lsd) then drive an itr. Big difference in how they'll handle when accelerating out of a turn.

IMO "handling" refers to suspension and tires with a lose connection to drivetrain, I have driven numerous GSR's with or without lsd's and many ITR's, as I have driven my RSX-S before and after I installed my LSD, so I know what you are talking about.
