Hybrid engine @ 2.3 liter
STOCK CAMS
DC H23 header
Testpipe
2.25" crush bent exhaust (dyno proven to rob my old H22 of 5 ftlbs of torque)
3" generic Ebay intake and filter
No PS
No balance shaft belt
15* timing at idle
91 Octane
Prelude Si tranny
4th gear runs
17X7 ssr forged wheels
IAB functional
Hondata
on a Dynojet 248C

Damn, not only a high peak number but from 2500 to about 6200 there's always over 140 ft/lbs!

That dyno shows that more peak power does not always mean better. I bet that car is a blast around town.

I have never seen an F23 dyno but the F22's that I have seen have always been pretty disappointing like 145 hp and similar torque. I would imagine that cams of about 200* duration and .420" lift will extend the power. I do not know how much it might hurt low end torque though since it is a trade off because of no VTEC. I called Brian Crower about the h23 cams and he said that they would be pretty comparable to the B18A variety cams in gains/specs.
