GSR disc brake swap ?

I bought a EG8 that had a GSR brake swap front and rear and still has the stock MS and brake booster. It doesn't feel that great over my dx hatch with drums. Now can I just install a 15/16 MC or do I need the brake booster also to get the benefit out of the MC swap? I have a 15/16 MC laying around so I didn't want to install it to find out I needed the matching brake booster too and have to take it all out again and just do this all at one time.

Wrong.
It depends on which 15/16" master cylinder you have.
If it is from a '90-00 Integra or from a '92-95 Civic with ABS, you will need a '94-01 Integra or '92-95 Civic w/ABS booster, because the bolt pattern is different from your stock Civic DX booster.
If it is from a '90-91 Civic EX, '90-91 Prelude Si, or '88-89 Accord LX-i, then it will bolt right up to your stock Civic DX booster.

It's for my 4dr lx and I have the 92-95 civic 15/16 MC. Now if I go find the other MC that'll bolt right up to my stock LX brake booster will it be as good as the 15/16 MC with the matching brake booster or not? I just want to get the most out of this brake swap.

Does your LX have the optional ABS?
The '92-95 Civic 15/16" MC is from an ABS car (AFAIK all of the non-ABS USDM G5 Civics had 13/16" MCs), so it will require either the '94-01 Integra or the '92-95 Civic w/ABS booster to bolt up. I believe you may also have to reflare one of the lines.

A 15/16" master cylinder is a 15/16" master cylinder. Changing the booster has no real effect on pedal feel.
Ideally, you will want a '90-91 Civic EX 4dr master cylinder, part number 46100-SH4-A11. It is 15/16" and will bolt up directly to your stock booster (assuming your LX doesn't have ABS) and will not require any bending or reflaring of lines.

i mite want to point this out on the eg civic you can run the hatch back m/c witch is the 92 or 93 do not have abs.. when i did my swap i used the m/c off of a 93 hatch. every thing else is stock on the car but if you look at it . like i have abs but you look closer i dont... if i get a chance ill post a pick of it...
good luck
