omni power coilover concern
I have heard mixed things about how low these coilovers will drop a car. I have heard it will not drop the car low enough to get rid of wheel gap, and I have also heard it goes low enough to get rid of wheel gap with threads to spare. Whats the story? Which is it? Does it not go low only on EKs? Heres a thread with an EK saying the fronts are at their lowest.

Whats the truth about how low these go?

how much lower did you want it? anything lower may not be drivable. my ek is about that low on stock LS wheels and they slightly rub ever so often when i turn
That looks PERFECT, I see people at the track all the time w/ there **** on the ground, camber all outa wack, just makes me laugh. I have apexi N1 coilovers, and front is all the way down and back in about half max height. Still has plenty of room so no bottum outs and all wheels are aligned right.

I just want it low enough to get rid of the wheel gap in front and back. This is why I ask this question, because I heard they werent capable of doing so.

There is no wheel gap in that pic. In fact, the tires are tucked and the fenders overlap them. Why would you want that? Wheel gap is a good thing. Why not just get some SUV tires so that they rub against your mudguards. Then finally, you would have no gap between the wheel and the body of the car. Building a car for show is such a goddamn waste. Damn I hate you ricers. A car like that is functionally useless. Tell me, do you dress yourself such that you are immobile? Yeah that lookz cool.

I love h-t! A simple question turns into a bash. Sigh... Anyway, my car now is low and it performs perfectly. I dont plan on dumping the ****. Im not even going to tuck any at all, so everyone please refrain from posting useless stuff like this. I already know the effects of lowering a car too much.

my friend has the omnipower full street coilovers on his ek. he lowered it about 3 inches and it gets rid of the gap. he said it rides shitty if you go any lower than that. if its ur daily driver you dont want to go too low.
Ok. I had omni's for my EH2. I had about enough gap to wedge my index finger through and I had a **** ton of thread left to lower. Omnipower recommends that you don't lower the car more than 3'. However, you can drop it a lot lower than 3'. It's senseless though.
Summary:
If you choose, you can lower your omni's to where there is no wheel gap and still be able to lower more. Period.

ANY coilover system is adjustable, not only Omni Power. A coilover is adjustable up and down. So, you can leave it at stock height or lower it up to 4". ANY coilover can eliminate wheel well gap. All you need is the fender and 1/4 panel to be flushed with the tire.
