best cams for turbo???
right now i have enough money to go turbo. and i have skunk2 stage1 cams.
i want to go w/ 9.0:1 cr.
out of gsr,itr and skunk2 stage1 cams. wich would produce the most power w/turbo?

I run some Rocket Motorsports cams and let me tell you. These suckers make great power all the way up to 9800.
Probably even cheaper than the Skunk Stage 1. They are worth the investment. I can afford other cams on the market, and these are by far one of the pieces that make my motor make good power.

well the skunk2 stage1 cams are barely more aggressive than itr's so should i use them? do you think id get more power over gsr cams w/ turbo?

Yes, the Stage1's will make more power than GSR's with a turbo. Go rocket though.

Skunk stage 1 cams are for all motor applications. Harv always had us use b16a cams....and we made a shitload of power with em. One of my buddies car did low 300's to the wheels (street car) and Harvs words were "wanna make 50 more hp? Slap some b16a cams in it"

50 more wheel hp with B16A cams, over what? Custom ground cams with 160/160 duration @ .050 and .200" lift?
Boostfed made 40 WHP more with ITR cams than he did B16 cams at high boost, that's enough for me.

I would rather have cheap *** GSR cams with an ITR valvetrain that allows me to rev into the mid to high 9's. Remember its not the cams that allow you to rev that high its the valvetrain and on turbo cars the turbo is making the power at high rpms. Im not saying ITR cams didnt make more power than gsr cams, I'd like to see that dyno though. What I'm saying is even a stock b16 can make power well into 9krpm when boosted, its limited by the valvetrain capabilities though.
For some reason my old b16 cams wouldn't make power past 8500rpm's before. I made good power with them, but I wanted to make power all the way to 9500. I have no problems making power past 9500 easily now. Rocket was able to hook me up with a profile that would work well with my setup.

Tony1 told me to use a Type R intake and GSR exhaust cam. That's what I have right now, the car should (PLEASE GOD!!!!!!!!) be running by the end of the weekend and tuned in Jan so I guess I'll know then how the setup works. Larry
