Default Intake manifold question

I was wondering, I have a 99 civic ex sohc v-tec and I need a new intake manifold for a manual drive and i was wondering what intake manifolds can i put on my engine? I have a friend that has one off of a 95 civic ex v-tec but we weren't sure if it would work... just need to get a new one in general if i want to be able to use my ecu for a manual instead of my automatic ecu... thanks!

SHould work. If his engine is a D16Z6, yea itll fit, but most will tell ya, on the D series enngines, the D16y8 Manifold is the best, thats the motor you have in your 99EX.

Oh, your engine has somethin called Air Injection. The 95 Civic EX didn't. So thats somethin you'll have to check out. It can be done, but if going to buy a new manifold, or search for one, ya gotta get a 99-00 Civic EX Intake Manifold.
