Default New and need Honda engine advice!

Hey guys,
im lookin for advice.
i have a very special project im goin to do. of course being a poor college kid it takes time to get money!
well im goin build or use an engine that is honda.
im thinking b18b *is that correct? ls engine from 94 or up?* with a Gsr head and Gsr tranny.
or a B20 Crv motor with a gsr tranny and gsr head. i want lower compression so i can pop on a small turbo on there. not alot of psi. just run it bout 220hp round there.
what issues will i run into if i do this?
i know its a differnet bore and crank on the b20. thats why i want it. lower compression better setup for a turbo. what is final compression with stock b20 and b18 head? i shouldnt run to many probs with using stock stuff right? im not goin all out race! but i will race this project car at the 1/4 mile track.
please help me out guys. ive worked on all cars. hondas are great.
anyone know anyone with gsr tranny and head?
also puttin the wiring together what would i use to creat that b20 magic of an engine?
.
im leanin towards b20 vtec
all stock unless recommended to change do to horsepower. 220 isnt too harmful. but never know 250 hp might be a nice thing to look at.
but tell me what you would recommend on pistons if i want lower compression or will the compression lower to a nicer level for a t 3.5 turbo.
thank you all.

220 should be no problem with a turbo. ls block or b20 block i believe the b20 has weaker stock sleeves but not too sure. getting 220hp in a turbod ls should be no problem.

if you want to save motor stick with the ls motor build a real good turbo setup good for 500whp+ and then later build the bottom sleeved 85mm with some aftermarket piston. and then set the boost level according to how much power you want. if your going to be puttin down power like that then id leave the ls tranny for the highway. i believe for ls or lsvtec there isnt much different when the car is turbod but im not too sure because im not a turbo guy but i hear the itr cams are good for making good turbo powa.

because of that extra bore. the b20 is a weaker sleeve. wa bout the compression on an lS is it 8:9:1? like the b20?
