Default B18C in my 93 Coupe.. Do I buy intake for GSR or Civic EX?

I'm looking at an Iceman intake and I was wondering which one I should buy?

92-95 EX or 94-01 GSR?

Of course you'll buy the intake for the GSR.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by bboyoxygen &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

do not get a gsr cold air intake. i got one and the intake runs right in front of the resevoir tank. it works just fine, but it doesn't go through the hole on the side by the fender like it should. get a CAI for a 99-00 civic si.

are you using the stock gsr intake manifold?

If you're runnign the stock GSR IM use a GSR intake, if you're using a Skunk 2 IM you would use an intake for an Si.

i would just get the one for ths SI. eventually you should want to change out the stock gsr intake manifold.

lots of misconception going around here.

if you've got the gsr intake manifold, the gsr intake is what you need.

if you've got a si/type r manifold, a 99-00si intake is fine.

these are for cold air intakes...

and yes, the filter location will differ. reason being is because the gsr intake manifold locates the t/b lower than si's and type r's....

AEM makes hybride intakes now but kinda expensive you just need to match your motor up with your car and they got the intake to fit your car right and give you the right amount of power gain

and that intake will go through the actual hole for the intakes on 92-95s, instead of smashing into your resevoir bottle before it makes the downturn.

i'd get one, but i went comptech instead.
