A few questions for you guys
I just bought a 95 black civic ex, and I love the car as well as the mpg
but I wanted to change some things on it, and I don't know exactly what I should be looking at. First I dont like the look from the back, its too high and it doesnt look right, I was considering a new coil to lower it a little, but the car is low as is. Then I considered a body kit, but every kit I seem to run across is way to flashy and racer style, and since my car isnt a racer, I dont want to give the wrong impression. Any suggestions from owners of my year or similar years?
The next question is on a muffler, I would like to give it a deeper sound, but not an ear piercing loud drag racer sound, just a deeper sound that obviously sounds differant. My friend has a pilot, and I like the way it sounds, can you guys give me a few recommended brands I can look into. Thanks a lot

First off if your not in to hardcore racing stick with the D16 which I'm presuming you have. As for exhuast I recomend Magnaflow cat, resenator, and muffler pieced it together with 2.25" mandrel bent piping. I'd get a pretty long resenator to keep it a deep sound and under the radar. Can't help with the body kit but gl man. Again stick with the D16 and dont waste money on a B motor unless you blow the D16

exhaust>>if you want a deep yet quiet exhaust get an apex-i WS
body kit>> get an oem ex front lip
lowering the car>>theres no such thing as too low

i would have to agree on the magnaflow it is a deeper tone and if you are looking for a kit just go with a good lip kit nothing to flashy but it will make your car lower looking and by to low what do you mean cant get a jack under it or cant get your foot under it that is low.

thanks for the help guys, Im pretty sure I have the d16, its a 1.6L vtec sohc, Im new to this, so if you guys could tell me what a "B" series will do for me? Does it give me more hp? and what is the best motor for my car. My civic has a few miles on it, and in the next few years it will need a rebuild or a new motor. Is there a "premium" motor? or is it a matter of taste? Once again, thanks for all the help
It seems as if you're pretty new to the aftermarket world.
But if you're looking for a quiet exhaust that is decently priced, I would suggest a GReddy SP system. Although it's not the best, it does offer a quiet deep tone that I believe you're looking for.
As for ride height, if you're just looking for a little lowness, just get lowering springs. Eibach offer excellent springs for that generation Civic.
Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the motor until you've done all your research.
