Ok. I just got a 95 integra ls and I definitely want to get some speed out of it. Right now it is completely stock (except for racing muffler). Im planning what to do.Ive done allot of research about head swaps/engine swaps and turbo.I was at first thinking of getting a head or block swap,but that seems a little difficult and expensive for small horsepower gains. From the research ive done it seems that turbo would be the best for power and price wise,But ive got a friend who will sell me a GSR engine in the near future for about 2400 (including install). But ive seen some upsetting 1/4 mile times for the GSR,I also know that V-tec is agreat build up engine. What do you guys think?

Oh by the way my goal is to be hitting 12's or 13's in the 1/4.

 

$2400 for the new engine installed vs. $2400 for turbo you will get more hp for turbo...

if you want to hit the times you said... turbo will be the only way.

 

Im in no hurry to hit those numbers I just wanted to know Where is agood place to start.

 

just buy the GSR engine for less than 2400 build it up for turbo over time than one day drop that mother in. Turbo GSR>Turbo LS

 

Thats true gsrboi80 but is it that much of a difference?
