Can someone please tell me if a ITR rear bumper will fit on my 96 GSR? My car is in the shop, so I need to know pronto.

I'm pretty sure the only difference is the Type-R might have an optional lip.
So if their both a coupe then it will fit.

 

An "ITR" bumper is no different than any other Integra bumper of the same body style.

 

Are you sure? They said if I order, I cant return it...so if it doesnt fit I am FUCKED

 

94-97 bumpers are the same, 98-01 bumpers are different, you need the lights and fenders for the 98-01 and vice versa

 

Rear bumper should be the same no matter the year.

Has anyone ever seen this done or know for a fact that it can be done...I figure that there should be no difference in the dimensions, but I dont want to get screwed by getting the type R bumper and lip and then finding out it wont fit on my 96

 

oh, rear bumper. yea, itll fit. did it to my 96 ls, made it look like an RRRRR then it got stolen like one to!

 

Again, there is nothing at all special or different about an "ITR" rear bumper. You'll be replacing your current bumper with an identical piece (unless you want to install a '98+ bumper, although again all '98+ bumpers are the same - including the ITR's).

Are you trying to say that all '94-'01 bumpers are the same? If so, that's not the case. The '94-'97 bumper is styled differently than the '98-'01 version. And once again, I'm not sure why people are referring to a "Type R" bumper. There is no Type R specific bumper, it's exactly the same as any other Integra bumper of the same body style.
