Default noisy timing belt?

hey about once a week there is a whining noise coming from the area of the timing belt. it sounds like my car is electric or something. also my car is hesitating/bogging at partial throttle and idles funny every now and then. the belt was changed about 8000 miles ago. is it possible it jumped teeth or something? im not sure the belt is tight however. any help is needed before i change my 02 sensor to try to fix the bogging problem. thanks

I experienced a similar problem. Turned out to be a bad distributor.

make sure the timing belt guide plate (the goldish thing) is turned w/ the beveled edge out... of even there... if not the belt will move around n eat thru the covers causing a wierd loose sound.... dunno if that helps
