need distributor help
my damn distributor died again. what i need to know is if this HF dizzy i have sittin around can be repinned to work with my SI. the plugs look way different, but if i can swap the plugs or something i can save some money, which is good. can anyone help?
that's what i thought to. this is strange because it's my gf's old car. 88 crx hf. says it on the title and everything. BUT....it's dpfi, which i thought was only dx. plus the plugs are different on the distributor. so i'm just going wtf??? is this "mystery hf" really a dx?
If the engine it came off of was DPFI then the dizzy is no good to you... The HF dizzy works with Si stuff b/c the REAL HF is MPFI... The DPFI dizzy is missing two sensors that the SI one has...

yea, I was gonna meantion that I have a SI dizzy for sale for $55shipped, but I didn't wanna sound like I was just telling you that to get you to buy it, hehe... I'm not really advertising it, I just have an extra one if you wanna buy it..
The HF dizzy does have the exsact same dizzy plugs as the SI dizzy. I'm running a Si dizzy, but I cut the dizzy plugs out of a HF when I converted my car to MPFI.
