2k Si CEL Code 45
Hey, couldn't find an answer in past topics, so I figured I'd just ask.
I recently installed an ITR intake manifold in my 2k Si and shortly after it started throwing the CEL 45 code. I proceeded to reset my ecu and it went away. It comes back at random times in pretty long intervals and I just reset my ecu and it goes away again.
I was changing my plugs the other day and when I took them out, the tips were almost white, more grayish. So, I figured I was probably running lean. Just wondering if anyone could help me out with this. Thanks.

yeah heh guess I should've mentioned that I know what the code 45 means but yeah I figured that too, with a new intake manifold I may need to up the fuel but I spoke to a few people (who may not know what they're talking about) and they didn't think that would be an issue.
The stock ecu should be able to compensate for the extra air coming in. Just like when you put an intake on, the airflow is increased, but you don't need to add an fpr or anything. Unless we are talking about turbo's, not that is a different case. I put a skunk2 IM on my car and haven't had any cel's from that mod.

I am not saying that could not be your problem, it's just my experience. Also, I have never heard of anyone needing an adjustable fpr just for putting an aftermarket IM on. I hope we can get some more responses to confirm this. Good luck.

alright I'll try that when my bro gets his car back from the shop
Another thing, I just got done looking around my engine bay and tightening some things that were loose and I found that the throttle cable was pretty lose, could this cause me to run lean? May be a stupid question but eh...
