u can pice together a turbo but make sure u get good products. ebay products arent trust worthy. buy a turbo from a reliable company so if a part is having truouble that you have customer service. so def. not ebay.

why don't you do some research and figure out what pieces will work best. Simply buying what others "say" is good will not make you happy. Put in some work and figure out what will make you the most power and suit the power band you want.
I'm having a hard time voting on this one.
If you get the Ebay cheapo, you will have to replace the manifold and downpipe as well as the wastegate and possibly the BOV.
Manifold = 200-400
Downpipe = 150-200
Wastegate = 150-250
BOV = 150-250
So on the low end (with no BOV) you will have to invest $500 extra just to bring it up to par. But on the high end you will have to invest $1,100 to bring it up to par.
Lets go over what I see in the ebay auction.
T3-60 Turbocharger - Turbonetics Hybrid upgrade available for $299
Showing a picture of a Turbonetics turbo.
Turbonetics is good. And I assume the T3-60 is a Turbonetics turbo. If it is then no problems there. But the "Turbonetics Hybrid upgrade available for $299" scares me. That could mean that "this picture isn't what you would get, but what you could upgrade to". You could get "Joe's BBQ, Taxidermist and Turbochargers Inc." brand of turbo. That would suck. That would be another $400-800 you'd have to invest unless you got the upgrade or the T3-60 is actually a turbonetics.
Billet 35mm wastegate
Yeah... uh huh. You don't tell us the brand name because? Oh! I see. You little brother Billy decided to learn how to weld and this is his first project. No. Wastegates are way too important to get cheap on.
JDM Large Front Mount Intercooler Polished
Just thought this was funny. JDM intercooler? M4d JDM y000!!1!11!one!1!!
Intercooler piping - 304 *No Rust* Stainless Steel
What size though? 1/2"? McDonald's straw thickness?
Stainless Turbo Header
See the above mentioned "What brand" problem.
FREE Stage 1 Blow off Valve
So you use to not include a Blow Off Valve? Did you just tell your customers to plug the hole on the intercooler piping with duct tape?
Stainless Steel Downpipes
2.00" Stainless steel down pipes (Weld to fit ANY setup)
External Wastegate Block-off Flange (bigger downpipe kits available in our other aucitons)
2" is kinda small. So you'd want the bigger downpipe. And the external wastegate block-off flange bugs me. That would be useful for an internal wastegate setup.. So why does he include a wastegate?
So I guess I'm voting for a Drag kit.
Although I admit I could be wrong. Write him and ask about all the stuff I have listed.

That's a really nice breakdown, I didn't realize how much of it was contradicting. I'm still reading and learning about putting together turbo kits, so I have to admit, the e-bay one sounded o...k... to me but I have always doubted things from there. I recommend piecing together your own, because if you're gonna spend $3000 plus, might as well be on a good turbo/FMIC and not wasted on the piping from a kit. There was a really good G2IC article about putting together a turbo kit, if I get un-lazy, I'll look for the link.

I would try and score a lightly used kit from a trustworthy person on HT.
That ebay turbo kit is completely different in every aspect. Right down to the turbo being a straight T3 vs a hybrid in the drag kits.

Yup, i agree with what most everyone has said so far. And i just don't think that you would be happy with the results of the ebay kit. A 2" downpipe is just too small and the turbo is on the small end of "the spectrum" for a b series too. Also the drag kit includes more like a fuel pump and other fuel management, where I didn't see anything for it on that other kit, and that is the most important part if you ask me.
Oh, and I almost forgot, that manifold is a piece of ****.
Like everyone else said.
I know a guy whose broke, but he is a welder. Even after he fixed it up good, it cracked on him badly, not to mention it gave off a lot of heat. He went to an inline pro stainless steel, and it's really nice. He put down over 400 whp w/it.
ever turboed anything before? if so and you are confident in your problem solving abilitys then get the ebay one. but if not or you just want something that you know is going to work and that is stood behind buy the drag. i have one on my car and am very pleased with it. plus the drag is a complete kit. no bs ing over finding and buying missing pieces.
