Either paint them, or Armor All.

If there already shiny and black, then use armorall to keep them that way, if there dull and grayish, peanut butter, or very cautious use of heat.

EDIT: damn, Vap beat me to it

Well if it's that bad, might as well buy some new ones.

on my old EF I used that plus a few coats of krylon semi-glass UV protectant as well...the guy I sold it to re-touched it up last month. I sold it to him in Feb...he said he loves how people ask him where did he get all them brand new...

krylon can work wonders..just get rid of the stock tip and get a thin(if you have access to graff supplys) and a bunch of light coats work wonders

Stay away from armorall. It seems like a good idea. Will look shiny and what not. But over time that crap dries out your plastics.

for your tires and even for other exterior parts Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing rips if you like that crazy gloss look. Use it along with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care.

Personally I find the best stuff to be Einszett Tiefenpflege (1Z Vinyl & Rubber Care). Stuff is amazing. It actually holds up to car washing and is designed to repel dirt. I strongly suggest picking up a 1Z Rubber Protection Stick to toss in your glove box.

another great product and one of my favorites is 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's doesn't have silicone or petrolium or any of that crap like armorall in it. Stuff lasts forever.

oh yeah...and if your already faded and want some black back..Peanut butter works pretty well. Nice natural oil. But personally I don't like all the effort it takes to get that crap out of the cracks. Try Mothers Back-to-Black or Black Again Exterior Trim Restore.

i use peanut butter, but you can only use it on the lower outside mouldings, dont use it for the stuff around your windows, and yes thank you, iam the one that made the peanut butter thread haha

Yeah, for long term - new ones.
I picked this up the other day at the dealership:

One can covered the entire back bumper - I have the STD model and it's still holding up.

Use Mother's Trim protectant, works fine for me and probably lasts you a good 2 weeks.

Also, I think that the reason people don't like Armorall is because they put it on and expect it to stay on there forever.
