too many IMO.. you should be cool with the oil press and A/F alone.. even though A/F is not accurate half of the time and just keeps jumping back and forth..

I think oil temp is more important than oil pressure. I've had one and the only time it told me that the pressure was low was when the gauge sprun a leak.
Oil temp might be important to autox-ers and road course drivers.

interesting....

I think the vacuum gauge is very useful for doing engine diagnostics....at least the readings give clus as to engine condition.

yes, i realize the use of a vacuum gauge for diagnostics.
lots of things can be determined from vacuum, like timing, valve clearance, etc..

but i don't understand running one at all times.
same thing with a fuel pressure gauge. some people keep them in the car, but i don't think they are needed for constant monitoring on a NA car, like they are on a FI car..

In the car: Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure. At most (on a N/A car obviously)
In the engine bay: Fuel Pressure.

The volt meter and a/f gauge are 100% useless, Vac gauge can be useful but doesn't need to be in the car except when you're trying to fix something.

It measures vacuum. Vacuum/Boost gauges are used for turbo cars, but all cars use vacuum lines and use vacuum.. brake boosters, etc all 'use' vacuum.
