Which Manifold would be better for a 2001 GSR ? ANd what would be the gains and loses of running a better manifold? I DID A SEARCH found nothing! And what parts would I need with the manifold?

And anyone that lives in South Fla please tell me where I can find a Tuner in Palm Beach County.

ur gonna need a intake w/ filter that will fit and ITR or LS

need new intake manifold gasket too. otherwise u can use stock GSR
TB, TB cable like i did.

i gained 12 hp overall with addition of VAFC and also 10 hp in rpms over 5k

excellent mod for the money but its all top end performance u will see

 

you will lose midrange unless you have bigger cams and tuning. I kinda like the GSR IM for everyday driving.

 

I forgot to mention that the ITR IM is not a direct bolt on. You will need to do some modifications.

 

if you have a p73 head, get a skunk2. if you have a pr3 head, get a type r. they are the same thing, just type r is cheaper.

 

he has a p72 head, so skunk2.. Look no further, read no more, just go get it.. Peep this out for direction on the Skunk2:
