yeah new to the boards...

i have an 88 crx and i have a zc in it. i was wondering if it is worth keeping it in,and building it up, or just swap it with a b16 or b18? i dont know to much about crx's yet but im trying to learn... im not planning on being a full on racer but i want to be able to blow anything off the line if i do race it...

 

If you want to blow anything off the line like you say, then go with a b18. The torque will help you allot and theres more potential with the b-series. A built ZC is equal to a stock b18. I know, i had a built ZC and a stock LS.

 

cool cool. i was talking to a guy at a shpo local and he said just said to build up the zc, but if the b series is better im gonna go with that. he said if i want to go all out just to get a tyoe r i was like ummm... yeah so i need to learn more about it.

 

o yeah and anyone know of any sites i could start looking up for buying a b18? like prices and stuff like that?

 

Do a search on the LS motor! You can build them to be pretty mean and parts are cheap for them too!

 

Check here in the classified section. Also, check Recycler, i once bought a perfect 94 ls engine for $200!!! The car was totaled so the guy didn't care much about it. You can find some good deals sometimes. Good luck
