Default my goal with b20z vtec!!!

i have a stock b20z..with 1st gen b16 head...with the foll:

type r mani
65tb
intake
gsr cams
4-1 dc jdm headers..
gsr injecters..
fidenza flywheel....this set up now...(untuned made 190hp and 140tq..tuned..185hp and 152tq)

my goal is too hit 200 hp and alot of tq.......with stock bottom end....i am going to notch out the pistons for clearance...fresh up the head with springs and retainers, valve guides, type r valves...etc because head is too old now...1 gen..wow and still going strong..............

well cams............i was going to get ctr cams, but now i want to put in bc3+ or m22 cams....
does any one think it can be done???? open for comments!! and ideas..

i jus want to doo it on stock block..i only rev to 8g's and i have been running my setup for 7 months now......going strong..

i believe your compression is in the high nine's (9.7:1) i believe w/ the b20z pistons i.e. phk's.

i would mill the head just a little bit to get more compression if you can, and i'll go w/ the bc3+, it's just that they require more compression then you have to work best. bc3+ is great because most of the power is in the lower revving range to keep that daily driving possible. This cam is not for peak HP, but great for daily driving and MAD torque.

i would definitely recommend you to a custom header to hit the 200whp mark much easier: smsp, dtr, hy-tech

if your on a budget (like most of us are, and that's including me)

i'd go w/ enzo-racing header/header-tech

make sure your valve-relief is opened up is you want to use stock block because there might be some piston-to-valve clearance issues. after the installation of the cams. CLAY CLAY CLAY
