Default 90 accord with f22bi v-tec swap need help with vafc2

I have a 90 accord EX with a f22a1 engine, but I just put on a 94 v-tec head and finally got it all running, but now It hessitates at 5200, and wont go past. almost like a rev limiter. At first this happened at about 3000, but we dicked around with the afc settings and we improved it dramatically.
I read on the apexi site in the Q and A

"VAFC: Will the VAFC work on 4 cyl. Accords?

No. The VAFC will not work correctly on 4 cyl. Accord models. 4 cylinder Accords incorporate a slightly different method of VTEC control causing the engine to hesitate at approx. 5000 RPM when the VTEC engagement point is changed. The VTEC AFC will work correctly on 6 cyl. Accords."

Does this mean that I cant use the VAFC2 on my car? this only talks about the vafc 1.
If anyone has any presets that I could put in that would be great, Im taking to be dynoed on friday, but want to try to get it to run good myself by then.

I am currently running the 90 ECU. The 95 ecu that I have makes it idle wierd and barely run. It is also has a few extra sensors so if I run it will stay in open loop. The owner of the only shop on maui with a dyno claimed to me that I needed the vtec controller and ther 90 ecu for it to run right. I hope I dont have to stick his foot in is mouth again....wont be the first time, hehe.
