Default Need motor mount help on 89' civic

I am new to honda's and I need to see if you guys can help me out.
I just bought an 89' honda civic, 1.5 automatic, with 55,000 miles on it. The only thing wrong with it was the motor seemed to have a bad motor mount. It would sort of clunk when it shifted gears. I Changed the mounts, and it's better but it still clunks a little when it revs up. I noticed that the back motor mount by the firewall seems to move quite a bit and I think it is making this motor move to much. Do they sell any sort of aftermarket mount for these cars. I have seen some people talking about motor mount inserts, I am not familiar with these at all and if someone can help me out with this I would love it!

only 2 mounts that control engine torque is the front trans and rear mount. If you can actually see the rear mount move even after you replaced it it can't be in the mount itself. Are you sure its bolted up completely?

Yeah i am pretty sure it is bolted down good. The metal part of the mount is firm, but the rubber just moves quite a bit. I was thinking of trying the motor mount inserts. Have any of you tried them?

your mild mannered daily driver will pointlessly become a rattletrap with poly mounts.

go to a hardware store and buy a tube of pulyurethane contruction adhesive. one at a time take off your mounts, set tape or saran wrap on the opposite side so it doesnt leak out,, and fill em up. when it hardens, your mounts will be firmer, but not like the typical aftermarket rocks. save yourself a couple hundred.

That can't help you though if that mount isn't broken and where do you get the couple hundred price tag? Mount inserts are $25 for front and rear and NEW mounts from JimFab are $75. So either way, I have yet to see any figure over 100.
