Default AXLES

HI MY TRANNY SIDE AXLE IS CLICKING BIG TIME BUT THE BOOT IS NOT RIPED AND IT DIDNT DO IT WHEN I DIDNT HAVE LSD.

Sounds like the axle is to short. What year axles and type or tranny are you using?

90 to 91 ls tranny wit a ys1 lsd and 92 93 gsr axles

or the internals of the cvc joint are dead.... i dont think the boot being torn means its always bad.

go to raxles.com for good axles. still could be internal of axle mine was the same way when i first got my car

Clutch type lsd's click when they are dried out, or just old True story happened to a buddy of mine.

What do you mean by when you say "when i put in the LSD" did you use an LSD Tranny or did you one of those gay kits?

oh and this brings back memories, i remember when my axle was doing that, every time i turned my friends would stick their hands in the air and scream.

it is a whole ls tranny then i threw in the lsd from a ys1 tranny into it

^up above I asked you if you had trouble with the axles..

you had to take the axles out of the old trans to get the new differential in there, right?

I'm thinking you may have damaged them when doing the LSD install.

It's the lsd. My buddy's did the exact same thing. Sounded like a loud *** clicking axle when he turned. It sucked.

your barrings are shot i just had the same problem, so i bot new axles and the clicking went away.

hmmm thanks i dont noe is it the lsd but my homie looked while i backed out and he see the shaft move up and down like it was falling out of the boot
