Disconnect the PCV valve..is this a good idea for a heavily boosted motor

Default Disconnect the PCV valve..is this a good idea for a heavily boosted motor

i heard that it would be wise to Disconnect the PCV valve on a heavily boosted motor. to relieve some pressure..any truth in this????

You have to remove the PCV valve in order to ventilate the crankcase if you don't have it hooked up to a vacuum source (open loop system).
