Default Building a D16y8 all motor

OK...Ive had a 98 Civic for over a year now and Ive done some work to it, but Im about to make some big improvements. I need help with knowing what will be the best parts to build my D16y8. Ive got a Drag Gen 3 turbokit for it already, and now Id like to know whats the best parts such as rods, pistons, and valves for hp. Help me out PLEASE!

So if you have a turbo kit, why build an all-motor?

To match the turbo kit, I'd put in Eagle rods, ARP rod bolts, SRP 9:1 compression pistons, ARP head studs, Ferera valves, and a new OEM head gasket.

Im runnin 9psi right now on stock internals and I was goin to build the motor so i can raise the psi. If I do those mods how much psi do you think i could run?

Doing those, without sleeves, I'd say you can run to 15 psi with no problems.

Yeah you said in your post title "Building a D16Y8 all motor" which in terms means your building a naturally aspirated D16y8. Not a forced inducted setup. Just get new rods and pistons and a nice headgasket and some ARP head studs.

You need to search and read. But resleeving is to strengthen the block so it can handle the increased pressure. Don't count on the new internals adding any power.
