COMPUTER TROUBLE CAN SOMEONE HELP
I MESSED UP AND PUT A DX COMPUTER IN MY SI, AND IT WILL NOT RUN EVEN WITH THE SI COMPUTER BACK IN IT,ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE DX COMPUTER WOULD HAVE FRIED,I CHECKED THE FIRING AN IT IS DOING THAT BUT I DO NOT THINK IT IS GETTING FUEL, NOT ONLY THAT MY SI COMPUTER IS NOW FLASHING A CODE 19 WHICH IS LOCK UP CONTROL FOR A AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION,MY CAR IS A STANDARD SO WHY WOULD IT DO THAT.I HAVE TRYED RESETING IT AN IT STILL COME RIGHT BACK ON

second of all you have the wrong ECU if you are flashing a code 19. Very large problems result because of that. Throw in something for a m/t. I doubt you fried anything, seeing as hybrid ecu/engine swaps are common; I have one. Wiring is similar, if not identical, in Honda ECU's (at least the civics/tegs), just timing and air/fuel ratios, limiters, etc are different. However, having an A/T ECU will cause your car to not start, and if it does start, your limiter will be all **** chung. If it cranks but doesn't start and you've switched ECU's, check grounds? I had a main engine ground improperly secured and the wire and insulation actually caught fire while trying to crank one car after a swap. Quick reposition/tighten and it fired up.

another thing... If swapping ECU's for a M/T one is not an option, there are some resources on here for converting to manual. It involves switching a jumper i think, but the only thing I saw on it was for a B16. Give search a shot though.
