too bad only the stretched outer skin is "Import".. everything else is derived from tried and true V-8 parts...
I think its really just a Stretched Integra Type R shell. Plus he is using the Integra Type R name. Some dumbass out there goin to think the Integra Type R is the fastest import car out there.

I think it's an import motor cause he said the head had 16 valves...don't know, too lazy to read the whole thing.
Ah, I found the paragraph describing the motor:
The Type R's Max-4 engine is conceptually half of an Arias 500 cid Top-Fuel drag-racing V8, topped with an exotic triple-plug, four-valve-per-cylinder DOHC Batten Performance cylinder head. The engine is based on an immensely-strong aluminum block milled from solid billet without cooling passages--a mighty, solid-block dual-fuel powerplant designed to achieve 3,000 hp on 55 psi of twin-turbo boost, using nitromethane delivered in bulk via constant mechanical injection and trimmed with gigantic port electronic injectors.
EDIT: Half of 500 is 250 cubic inch...which translates to 4.1 litres
That's a pretty big 4 banger.
But for some reason they list it as 4.8 litres...
1 litre = 61 cubic inch <---this is a fact

This is just going to make more 16-yr old ITR owners want to turbo their cars. "If that guy got 3,000hp I can definitely get 1,000!"
"I had the technology," shrugs Norwood, who once did nitrous oxide scientific research and raced Top-Fuel Hemi dragsters with Dale Armstrong. "The Max-4 is half of what we already had in the Batten B-4 DOHC Chevy-Rat-type V8s. I decided to build a big four-banger with lots of cubic inches, good technology, really strong. I basically used a fuel-burning mentality for the block and the driveline and everything else. The Type R's Max-4 engine is conceptually half of an Arias 500 cid Top-Fuel drag-racing V8, topped with an exotic triple-plug, four-valve-per-cylinder DOHC Batten Performance cylinder head. Come on people! Read the damn link! Did you even look at the billet cylinder block?

it is half of the V-8 but it displaces 5.0 liters(4.5" bore x 4.5"stroke)..

that's interesting, but i think that funny car integ is as much of an "import" as an accord. just the badging labels it an import lol.
That is where you are wrong. The is at least one major Honda piece on the motor.
Hint: look at the electrical system.
