i just installed a msd on my car. it starts but sometimes cut right off. when i 1st turned the car on the engine check light came on . and were do i run the wires out of the cap. right now i just got them running threw the crack were it seals

 

what msd ignition did you buy and what are you putting it on?

 

don't run it through the crack

hehe.....drill a small hole in the cap and run the wires through there. you can cut through the wire when you tighten down the cap and that bare wire will touch the metal on the distributor.

 

I notched the little rubber that holds the other wires coming through, that way you can still pull the cap off. Also I wired in connectors between the wires so that you can still pull the motor with out having to cut the wires. Clean

 

you thats a good idea with the connetors . i'll try that tomorrow
