my guesses:
lack of a good idle would be one thing. i think the stage 3 primary lobes are monstrous. and then the VTEC lobes are Drag only. big lift and duration.

well, that's sort of hte point of a stage 3 cam; fully built (at least top end) motor for drag use only.

if you're looking for super great street performance, there are many other cam options that would work much better...

I wouldnt recommed these cams on a street app. Idle is horrible. And your not gonnna see the benifits of these cams without the higher cr...

look int osome other options... besdies, crower has horrible customer service if you have a problem with thier cam...

11.0:1 is okay. probably the bottom end CR for these.
you're going to need upgraded valvetrain at the least and some top end work (p'n'p, etc.) to free up the necessary CFM to flow the air the crowers are going to need.
and yes, crower customer service does suck.

I believe these are a the same profiles as the Crower BVTEC 63403 and those can work on 10.5+ CR motors.

so on a JDM obd-1 bottom end, 10.6:1, would these be okay?

what about running them on a stock flowing head with crower springs and retainers. Is it worth it? or is it going to run into flow problems?

If they are anything like the Stage 3 B series cams, you really need 11+ c.r., springs/retainers/pnp, and at least 8,000 rpms to really get the benefit from them.

And from what I'm researching myself for my Lude, you need to do the bottom end to be able to get 8,000 out of the H22 with reliability.

And the DC crap with not do you any good with the cams. You need a SMSP, Hytech, Rage, Prospeed, etc. for the header. A true 2.5" one.
