I was wondering if the g2 ls heads are the same as the g3? like will they bolt on the same and run the same and so forth. basically, are they alike? because im bout to get 2 ls heads from g2's for about $100 and thinking about setting up a head for turbo setup. just needed some opnions. thanks alot.

 

Yes, they're basically the same. The 90-91 have 130hp, the 92-93 have 140hp due to a change in the cams, and the 94+ are 142hp due to running the same cams as the 92-93, in conjuction with a slightly better intake manifold.

 

is there anyway i can tell what heads are they by looking at them?

 

I already PM'd you, but if you have the ecu you can tell because 90-91 will be OBD0 and 92-93 will be OBD1. Both ecus will say pr4 though. I am not sure of any external differences, you could look at the cams since they are different.
