Do the rsx seats have vin #'s stamped on them like the s2000?
I am curious to know if honda finally figured out that people steal honda seats.
And I know people have tried to get into my car to get my seats f'ed my window all up. So I am hoping that they have vins on them to prevent people from wanting them.

 

You could just put a VIN on your seat if it doesn't have one

still, if someone steals your seats....you'll have to first find them before you can prove they're yours.

why don't you just pay the $1000 and get your whole car etched? Once someone realizes that the car is etched they won't steal anything, the etching company even etchs the dipstick of a motor!

 

cant u just scratch off vin #'s if they're on everything? or is there a law that u cant scratch off vin #'s to anything..try like lowjack or is it spelled lojack?? whatever it is..kill switches..removeable steering wheel..2 way paging alarms..clutch/brake pedal lock..if ur going to be parked for a while, there should be a wire that you can disconnect under ur hood so they cant turn on the car. or just sit outside ur car with a gun

 

seriosly, why spend 1k on etching, when you can get lojack. with lojack you have a higher chance of finding your items then etching.

 

the dc5r seats has a bar code sticker on the buttom, don't think it's the vin though.

 

change all the bolt sizes on your seats with allen head bolts and star bolts and odd size bolts like 13mm and 16mm.....same goes with the white ball...

because when you etch your car and it gets stolen you get $5000 compared to other programs, and also when EVERYTHING on your car is etched why would they steal it? You can't sell anything on message boards or ebay?

 

i'll etch my **** myself, if it gets stolen just report the # u etched to the police, police know what's up with honda ****, they check numbers, ****.
