slipping clutch?
while im driving.. and near almost every gear low rpms i hear a thunk thunk thunk thunk sound.. (clutch released) does this mean my clutch is going bad? and needs replacing?
what are the symptoms of a clutch going bad?
Thanks in advance

A thunk thunk sound is definitely not good.
Your post is twofold. I'll try to help as best I can.
Question One:
A sure way to tell if your clutch is bad is if you are in a higher gear than you should be, and you hear the engine tach up, but don't increase ground speed; like 5th gear at 20 MPH. If you hear the engine rev up, and you aren't gaining speed, the clutch is shot.
Question Two:
If the sound is consistent in its frequency, in every gear, I would lean toward something in the transmission/differential/planetaries.
Is the sound consistent at all speeds, based upon the engine RPM's? Try to give as much detail as possible.
Possibly a tire that has a tread separating? That makes a thunk thunk sound. Or is it a wop wop wop???

kinda like a grinding.. usually in the higher gears.. from 2-3 k rpm
i always thought the clutch as like.. slipping a little.. its like how you hold a crayon at the top and drag it along the paper like how it skips
