I wouldn’t. All Hondas burn some oil. How much oil are you burning? Maybe try running 10w 30

def. not!

using full synthetic and then switching back to a non-synthetic can fug up a lot of your seals and **** really bad

90% of the time when people complain about synthetic oil being bad, it's because they switched from it to a non-synthetic and screwed up their seals

Wrong.

I go a full 2,500 miles betwween changes without burning a drop. I may add a cap

full ocassionally if the level is a nail under the second dot, but, the next time I

check it's a nail above.

<---- Uses 5w30 Castrol GTX Dyno

Wrong info and common myth, synthetic and dino are totally compatible.

Switching from synthetic to conventional oil is plenty safe in a modern engine. More than enough R owners have used M1 5w30, switched to a conventional oil or tried a higher weight (10w30, 10w40) and have reduced oil consumption by doing so.

Learn about oil here... http://theoildrop.server101.com/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi ... and try a 10w30.

royal purple sucks compared to castrol 0w30 (german), which is
group ACEA A3 rated.

Generally synthetic oil burns faster from my experiences. I just castrol GTX 5w30 and it seems to burn about a quart, maybe a little less, b/t oil changes.
