Shift Points (man i konw you guys want to jump on me for searching, just read it...)
Wh3n sh0u1d 1 sh1ft to save mad ga5 y0?
just kidding.....
i always hear that its good to shift at your peak hp and a lot of you on here comment that you rev to around 7200 and then shift....im just wondering why, and now that i can adjust my rev limit, i was thinking of revving to about 7600 then shifting.....
the way i see it is that the amount of hp/tq that you make above the peak hp rpm is greater than the hp/tq that you will make where you land in the next gear if you shift at peak......i would think that a rev from 5500-7600 would produce more acceleration that a rev from 5200-7200...(those rpm #s are approx i dont rly know)
check the sig if im completely wrong.....dont kill me on this one!!

trial and error. go run your car at the track and watch ur shift points and let us know.
how i save gas is, i shift before my turbo spools. so i shift at like 2800 rpm's.
