I have a 97 prelude sport shift and i recently installed a drag turbo kit. i have not had any problems yet and i was wondering if any one else has any sort of forced induction on a auto lude if so what are your experiences. also has any one had one dynoed and at what boost level. thanks chris

i have a 01 auto prelude with a fmax kit on it... ive been running it for 10 months tuned at 8psi on stock internals... overall the car runs pretty good... just make sure you get the tranny fluid changed VERY frequently and invest in a tranny cooler if you havent already... its only a matter of time before the ss tranny goes... best dyno run was 230.7whp 202.7wtq... btw what kind of fuel management are you running?

im running the vafc and fmu but im thinking about getting emanage sine it has more tuning options... i dont really like the fmu but hondata is not an option on a automatic car... and yes im still running the stock bottom end but i hope to build it as soon as i get some money...

I'm using a JR Supercharger with my SS Prelude and haven't had any problems except for the SC not making any power (178whp). I should've gone with a turbo, but I made the mistake of listening to stupid people, and ended up believeing that a turbo would destroy an automatic Prelude transmission. Congrats on the turbo, I sure wish I was making power like that...

Holy crap your only getting 178whp from the JRSC? Has it been tuned?
That sounds amazingly low to me, you should have that looked at...

What are you running for Engine management? What other after market parts do you have on?

i was running a vortech fmu but i am about to be running the afc hack untill i can figure out something better. not many things work with the auto as you probably know. i havent done much to the car. drag turbo kit, custom side mount intercooler. its a really strange setup that i thought of but you cant see it from outside the car. it works pretty well but it needs more ducting. other than that i have a aem fuel rail and a eibach prokit. what did he use to build the tranny? level 10 kit? something else?
thanks for the help

I used the level 10 rebuild kit and bought a new TC to be modified by another tranny company.. I sent out the rebuild kit to get cryo treated. I have an extra level 10 rebuild kit thats been cryo treated.

what does jackson racing use for fuel management?
how long has it been since your tranny rebuild?
does it shift any faster?

No tune yet, but hopefully after New Years. And yes, it is amazingly low. I hope to have it tuned by Jason (st00pid) at AutoLogic.
