After looking at other jdm itr engine bays it seems mine seems to be missing something at the front next to the stock air box there is what looks like a manifold with half a dozen small pipes going in/out. I do have a haynes on order from amazon and am a nOOb ( well may as well be its been 3 yrs ) so im expectin someone to flame me but after that someone please let me know

I'm assuming it came with the car.

 

yes it came with the car its a jdm 97 black with the red recaros and 4 lug 15's
no abs with 32k mls for 5000gbp a steal and i absolutely love it

Sweet deal. I assumed by your post you had a JDM ITR engine swap.

I didn't know the 97 JDM's were ABS-less.... and I'm pretty sure they're 5-lug... do you have a 96 or 97 ITR?? Maybe it's a 96?

(Edit: Is that Newcastle UK, AUS, Canada, California, Maine, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Wyoming, or perhaps Newcastle upon Tyne???)

nope its definately got the 4 lug and as far as i know it was imported from japan in 2001 the registration claims it to be a 97 and as far as i know both abs and a/c were jdm delete options

oh and yes iam the last one listed newcastle upon tyne in blighty

 

Do you know the exact pattern? 4x100 or 4x114.3? Hopefully 4x114.3, because at least that would match the 96.

95.5, 96, 97 are all 4 lug in JDM Land, then the JDM 98's are 5x114.3
they gave us the 5x114.3 in 97 here in north america

 

yes searched and 4 x 114.3 the same as 96 , I like the look of the 98+ 5 lug 16's better but im not fussy anyway jdm itr are like rockin horse **** over here a friend was searchin for 6 month and had to settle for a uk spec in the end.
