retrofitting HID projector into jdm one piece for DA??
here's my retro i just did. Bi-xenon projector into a JDM one-piece. I'll post a thread here on h-t soon when im not feeling lazy.

no prob. on the second page, you can see how much of a difference the fluted lens make. i did a comparison and a test fit. the lens installed on the drivers side and the lens removed on the passenger side. arghhh, i wish it had a clear lens. although im looking into alternatives.

Oh wow, so the new Maximas use the exact same Hella projectors that the Benz E-class and current BMW 7-series uses, except for that extra shield at the top. I have the E-class's in my car, love em.
yea...what is that shield for. almost got tempted to take it off.
anyways, these projectors are amazing, i love them. even though i still have some adjusting to do, the output is excellent and so is the cutoff.

Yes it is possible. One of my friends with a DA used the s2000 HID's...ballasts and all. They fit in with minimal hacking. (and yes, they were in JDM 1-pieces)
