Woot my new car is almost here ^^
this is in relation to 2 post you can find them here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1009445
2005 CGM STi
Well just got a call today and instead of the car coming in Feb its coming mid dec. now wooo hooo. Ive been riding my aprilia motorcycle since the last post.
i test drove everything its its price range and 20k higher and noting compares to its performance for the dollar and the ammonites it has as well. cruise control and auto climate control are a +. the STi is the next logical setp up after the type R.
crystal grey metallic with sliver wheels.

Good choice. I have test drove many other cars and the STi was the only one that I got excited about. Unfortunetly we don't get the EVO up here in Canada which would've been my next choice.
The cheapest STi I found was used with 8000Kms for $39,995CAD but it sold rather quickly. The 4 door, turbo, AWD with all the little goodies it comes with you just can't beat it IMHO.

Nice car. But, it is not "the" next logical step for me or for most people.

I remember seeing your post before, sucks to hear about the insurance issue. It still just seems that everyone is going towards awd/turbo these days. People weren't really into awd/turbo when the old 2.5rs's and mirages were out. Just seems like the resurgance of these companies with their awd/turbo/4-door cars are really the catchy thing these days.
I think around 2008 or so most cars above 20k will have a awd option.
and im saving close to 3 grand a year getting the STi so thats a big plus. Ill be able to buy a houes in a year and 1/2 now ^^

I thought this car had been repainted the silver that comes on the new M3's?
Regardless this car is amazing
I would love to see an STI come out of the subaru factory that color
