1990 Accord motor swap
First let me start off saying I am new to Honda's and I do not know if this subject has been covered.
I just purchased a 90 Accord LX with a bad clutch. The motor has 192K on it and I have never got to drive it, so I don't know how it runs. It starts up and idles fine, but when you release the clutch nothing happens like the clutch is still pressed down.
Anyway, in the process of search for a clutch a guy offered to sell me a wrecked 92 Prelude S with 105,000 miles. I was told the engine and transmission are a direct bolt in as well as the rear disc brakes. So, now I don't know if I should replace the clutch or get the new motor, transmission and brakes and swap it all over at the same time? Any opinions? I have been working on cars my whole life so the mechanical skills I have, just don't know if it is worth the time.
Thanks in advance
