I want an EK9 .

But I definitely wouldn't use it for drag racing.

If you're going to drag race, I believe the 4-1 would be better (for top end).

I couldn't give a suggestion for an aftermarket header, as I've never had an experience with one; hopefully someone will chime in and give their comments.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

the dc 4-1 is a good header for top end. its fit and finish are both good. if you are drag racing the car, i would do that or the jdm 4-1 type r header.

there is no one best header (not headers )...Toda (4-2-1) & Spoon Sports (4-2-1) are some of the best production units out there but very expensive...around $800-$900 US dollar. Becareful about the spoon it almost looks like 4-1 b/c of its VERY long primnaries...but merges into a 2-1 section just before the collector. the spoon header hangs very low beneath the car - so its easy to dent, especially if your car is lowered

you can also have one custom made...some of the best companies for Custom headers are Hytech, DTR, SMSP, ANR...prices for these tend to range from $1000-$1300 USD

if these are too much ($$$ wise) your 2nd best bet would be a jdm DC sports or OEM '98+ ITR header (around $350-$400)

shipping to portugal is going to be expensive either way.... if you want more info PLEASE SEARCH archive topics. this topics has been covered 1000's of times before

DC 4-1 is an excellent header. I'd recommend the mild steel version, its a lot cheaper and runs cooler than the SS version. Be aware that it hangs down pretty low. Offers excellent flow and is cheaper than the JDM Type R version (which is copies). I paid about $270 for it, so its not nearly as expensive as many other options.

Here's a fairly inexpensive place to get it: http://www.optauto.com/index.h...10569

The header for the 99-00 Civic Si/DOHC Del Sol should be the correct fit. Also, the header for the Integra Ls or Type R will be the correct length, but might hang down a bit lower. I bought the JDM 4-1 Type R DC header for my b18c1 so that it lined up properly in a swapped eg hatch. Good luck!
