cracked CF hoods

Default cracked CF hoods

im about to buy a CF hood for a really good price except there is slight crack on top left side surface...how does CF hold cracks? aany expansion over time or use sum epoxy to seal?

Yes you can fix it. If you go to a hardware store or an Auto shop (pep boys), they sell resin and fiberglass sheets. Apply resin to the underside of the crack then apply a small sheet over it. After it dries apply another coat of resin.

Hope this helps.

If you can try to get a new carbon fiber hood, most places have them for about $450.
