Default general questions about my lude

recently, when i started driving..well, when i start driving from a complete stop..i start going and as i am easing off of the clutch i something hear a "err" sound. it sounds exactily like the sound people make when you hear someones slam on their brakes and they dont have ABS. would it be a problem with my clutch?? cause its pretty new or would it be a problem with my axel? i was swapping out my rotors and i saw that the boot was cracked, but i didnt know for how long and the grease on the axel seemed fine, but i was going to change my axel this week and getting a camber kit as well and i was just wondering what would the problem be coming from??

also, what would cause white smoke to come out of my exhaust when i start from a rolling start? a small puff comes out usually everytime i start my car. possible head gasket going bad?? possibly running rich? it smells like my car is running really rich..its turboed btw and i was gonna be putting a fuel pressure regulator this week and i was going to get it dynoed to see if i can fix the problem with it smelling like its leaking gas

anything can help. thanks.

that sound you hear is probaly the pivot point on the slave cylinder for the clutch, its on the front of the transmission, and when you press the clutch pedal it it pushed the slave piston out which pushing agains t a fork that goes into the transmission, at that point theres supposed to be grease so that it wont make noises, a quick fix would be to spray WD-40 on it, however to have a more permanent solution you'll have to remove the slave and re-grease the pivot point, but I may be wrong, the noise you hear may not be this, but I've had this same problem before.

slave is on the outside of the tranny, right infront of the fan

you wouldn't happen to have an act clutch in there huh?

never use WD-40 as a lubricant. Its not a true grease. WD stands for Water Displacement.

Word, that ****'ll **** up rubber seals.

White lithium grease > Silicone spray > WD40

oh, and that white smoke puff that you see is oil leaking through your leaky valve stem seals and pooling on the piston while the engines off or idling(less pool, but the smoke builds up).....then when you turn on the ignition it burns the oil and theres your white smoke....nothing you can do about it except change to 10w oil if your using 5w that will help a little....

i actually do have an ACT clutch...would that be the reason?? and does adding grease the pivot point would the noise go away?

since i need to change my oil really really soon anyways..like next weekend ill trying 5w30..also should i add more oil if i have a turbo..since i need oil to come out and cool my turbo. also, how and when will i know if my headgasket is going bad??

oh yeah, if i stall, a huge, i mean huge cloud of white smoke comes out..what could be the problem of that? p.s. i stalled when i tried to start in 3rd gear for **** and giggles. guess i didnt rev enough.

u cant really find out for sure if ur headgasket is bad until u take it apart...but a sign is usually when u have smoke coming out of you exhaust when ur car is warmed up and has been driving for a while. white smoke indicates that coolant has leaked into ur engine..i believe black or blue is for oil.. im not an expert but its just from other threads ive read...hopefully ur headgasket is fine cause that would suck

it sounds like my tranny is grinding when i start my car, i think i solved that problem..but what about my other ones..i've been starting in 1st gear and that seemed to solve the problem.

but is the errrr sound when i slowly release my clutch be a problem with just ACT clutch or did the person earlier solve my problem and i just have to grease it?

and why would stalling emit a huge amount of smoke to come out of my exhaust..white smoke btw..this happened when i stalled when i tried to start on third..this was after a good amount of driving so my car was fully warmed up.
