earlier this year i re-did my exhaust and now have straight 2.25 piping from the header back to the muffler... no cat, no resonator. only problem, can't hear ANYTHING inside the car and i'm getting pulled over for it like crazy. would a test pipe quiet it down at all or would i have to buy another cat and put it back in?

 

well a test pipe seems to be what u have righ tnow.......


get a quieter muffler that might help a bit?


but a high flow cat would prollyb ethe best

 

i had that setup on my car.

DC Header > Test Pipe > 2.25" piping

i added a resonator and it did wonders to the sound of the car.

 

yeah a resonator would help.......i think magnaflow makes some pretty good ones.....cat would probably be the best option though......it will only take 1 or 2 hp from you.
