Honda Civic 2004: whistling, whirring sound
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could possible help me out with a problem I might be having on my new Honda Civic 2004. I've had the car for more than 3 months now. A few weeks ago, I noticed a faint whistling sound. It seemed like its coming from the rear of my car. It occurs generally when I haven't driven it for a period of time (whether 20-30 minutes, overnight, or what not), having it parked with my ebrake on. The sound occurs when the car moves forward and never occurs again during each drive. I read online forums and people experienced this whistling sound at high speeds and at high rpm's. On the contrary, this does not happen to me. I tried to diagnose where the noise came from, but it seems like its coming from the rear left passenger side. If anyone could possibly give me any suggestions, it would be helpful. Thanks
PS: Someone told me it might be my ebrake. I drive an automatic and always pull up my ebrake after I park it. Could that possibly be the reason?
