Default The Proper Way?

What is the proper way to put on upper strut bars? Ive heard of lifting ur car up on jacks then putting them on and ive also heard u can just slap them on when it grounded. Is there a proper way to get the best result from my strut bars?

open hood>place strut bar>put in bolts and tighten.

On my civic i had to turn the wheels so i could fit my hand and the wrench under there

You tighten everything up nice and tight.

And you install the strut bar while the car is sitting on the ground on its wheels.
