Default GSR-LS Radiator, The same?

Ok well after replacing my t-stat and the temp still going up, I realized that my fan was not comming on. So I called autozone and they have the motor, but only for the ls/rs and mine is a gsr. Is there a difference in the radiators?

Please someone help!!! I have to go tonight!

I am just wondering if the mounting locations for the fan are different from the ls/rs and gsr models.

Ok well i searched and I dont think they are different.

I was asking b/c I have a gsr radiator and autozone says that they only have the fan motor for non-vtec motors. So i was wondering if there was any difference.

When I checked on this site, they were both the same, no difference so I guess I will take a chance.

Yea there the same I have one from an auto they come plugged where the tranny lines are that way manufactures only have to make it one way.Your problem could also be the fan switch its the sensor located on the motor side of the lower radiator hose. if you pull the connection off and jump the wires and the fans come on its not the fan motor its the switch

Thanks guys for all the reply's. Well I just returned with the motor and since its night i will have to wait tomorrow. If I were smart I woulda checked to see if it was the switch, but i guess I can do that tomorrow.

Thanks again for the input

Alright so I come to find out that the origional motor wasnt bad at all. Both work fine and are operational. I know b/c I hooked it up to the battery. Ok so I went to honda and got the fan switch. I replaced it and guess what?......still no fan movement. So what the hell could it be?

I replaced the fan switch with a new one, replaced the motor and tested and it works fine. So I am lost. The only other thing it says in the manual is to check the relay? Where is that? I checked the fuses and they are fine, so I am stuck.

Any help will do
