4.8L twin turbo DOHC, 3 spark plugs per cylinder, 55psi boost with nitrous off the line to spool the turbos. alcohol for warm up/idle, then switch to nitromethane for 5 seconds down the track. no water coolant passages in the head. race designed, race built, race ready.

sick? indeed.

When you do the quarter in 5.5 or what ever the car did it in, is there any effects on the body? What kind of 0-60mph is that? I know Papa's civic does 0-60 in 2.5 or somthin like that, and he is no where near as fast as this beast.

The chassis is full custom. Designed and built to comply with NHRA rules. The body is all chopped up and you have to stare at it to see the resemblance to an integra.

What is that fastest unibody FF civic right now? 9.2? Or did someone break 9?

Gary went 9.16 (ecko civic) and supposedly someone jsut went 9.12 but not gonna spread the rumor till its been verified. the rumor about the kubos goin 8.62 is false.

Im talking about Steph Papadakis's car. Its not unibody, but Its wll into the 8's, if not faster, I don't know??? But anyways, is there any effects on the body when going that fast? And what about the 0-60 times?

NEw age and another beginning of imports. I say "what can domestic bum heads say now" I say give it a couple more years we will have more of these beasts... THis is totally a bad *** step for all import gurus. I give Mr. Norwood props. That guy does some crazy shiz. They developed the first ferrari F-50 twin turbo, a thousands + HP Testerossa... I also had this image that someone will do something similar as he did as far as building a block out of a block of Billet Aluminum and put it in the street import machine... Can you imagine 4.7 liter dual cam VTEC/NonVTEC acura motors with totally custom built blocks in your daily driven cars... I also learned in that Turbo mag that every pound of boost will consume 1 ounce of gas. **** no wonder why my car gulps damn gas...

Happy holiday everyone and i cant wait for the new season of up bringings.

p out

crew synergy nationwide...

Is that true? Is it 1 ounce per second or a minute, or what? Man that would suck if it was a second, and you were running 16 psi. That would mean you would burn a full tank in 88 seconds. Now that I figured it out, its not possible to be seconds, so I guess it could be minutes, but 88 minuts seems a little unrealistic too???

blk94rs

the statement i wrote about the consumption of gas was if you had stayed on boost, it would consume an ounce of gas per Lbs of boost. I read this in several mags but dont know if it is true. In my car it seems true, i fill up twice a week. so now i barely drive it and drive the n/a teg. I just filled up two days ago and already at 3/4 tank from driving and boosting on the highway and in town...
