7th gen accord
ok.
i'm going to be nice about this...
search.
it's been proven that using premium fuel over regular improves hp in that motor by about 10hp (i can't remember if at the crank or wheels). an engineer for honda has confirmed this as well.
intake and cat-back exhausts (with before and after dynos) will net you at least another 10whp.
i don't know if headers are available for 7th gens yet. (here's where you can search again)

I highly doubt premium will give you 10 hp at the crank let alone the wheels. Regardless he should be using premium gasoline or his timing could be thrown off.
Intake/Header/s/Exhaust = All hype. Some power gains but you lose low end.

ok, first of all, ur prolly right about the not gaining 10 hp with premium, but i dont think the engine is programmed for it either, so use it ull see something. second of all I/H/E is a good start. if ur doing anything in the future about a turbo dont do the headers, cuz ull be wasting money. but i think I/E is a good start and if ur not planning on a turbo, then I/H/E. i dont care about hype, cuz well its not hype. u see power, just not a huge amount, OK?
EDIT: plus as far as i kno search is broken right now

actually, there were dyno sheets posted on V6performance.com to show the hp difference with the gas. also, the honda engineer commented in some magazine (can't remember which one) that the ecu is programmed to adjust down to 87 octance, because they didn't want to make the accord a "premium only" car. in no way is he "supposed" to be using premium in the accord, and honda will be the first to tell you that. his timing can't be thrown off by using regular unleaded if the car was made to use it.
all hype? i guess that's a matter of personal opinion... but tell that to the guys that have done it with their 7th gen V6's and they'll laugh at you. the new V6 is a lot more receptive to mods than the previous V6.
so, whether you doubt it or not, i'm simply passing on information for which i have personally seen enough evidence to support.

whoever told you that you'll lose handling by lowering your car, well, don't ever listen to them again.
my suggestion is to read up as much as you can about your car. V6performance.com is a good resource as well. they also have an arrangement with some company that provides either performance ecu's, or chipped ecu's, or something like that. i can't remember for sure.
bodykits... well, 99.9% i wouldn't even touch. as for your question, i can't give you a definite answer.
