my freinds chip burner cant burn the rewritable 29c chips so does any know where to get 27c chips for cheap? is there a store that sells them?

the gay epromer5 or something. anywhere else? or anyone know if these can be bought local?

 

No experience with that burner, I don't see why it isn't set up for ubiquitous 29C256, though.

As far as local... uhm, try a phone book, bro?

 

If you or anyone you know has any AT era computers, check the bios chips. You may get lucky and find a 27c256 or two.
If you need one in a hurry, im sure there is someone on this board local to you.
Or at least someone who can burn your 29c for you, until you get your 27c in the mail.
