ITR Winter wheel setup...
Yes..a question from up here in Canada. The snow capital.
Although i'm sure many of you will shoot me for drivinga type R in winter..can those of you that do help me out with a winter wheel combination.
What setup do you go with? The stock 195-55-15? Will a 14inch steel even fit?
Opinions? Recomendations?
Thanks!

CRV steelies seem to be popular. Prelude wheels fit, and Accord five-lugs maybe?
Or just order a package from a place like Tire Rack if you don't have snow tires yet.

Its not that im on a budget. The 15" stocks are easy to find and really what look best IMO. With all the salt, sand...and other matreials on the road in winter up here i want to have as closed a wheel as possible to keep snow and ice off my brakes helping to prevent premature excessive rusting and ice buildup. A common problem with an open wheel is ice buildup on the iside of the rim which cause the wheel to go out of balance untll the ice is disloged. On my brothers 240 that he drives in the winter with snows on his alloys he experiences violent wheel vibration from ice that buildups on the inside of his wheel.
